Down Time

Today was a public holiday and let me tell you, it was perfect. We woke late to the rain, made an awesome breakfast, watched one of our favourite shows, did a little gardening, a little housework, then made fresh pasta together. You can't top that.

I bought The Man a pasta machine for his birthday and we tried it out today. I must say, I'm pretty proud of our first effort.

Mmm Boreka
Being that it was a "no work/no do very much of anything that required me to look presentable" day today, I'm not going to post pictures of what I wore. I will however share what I wore to Splendour in the Grass.

So tasty.
I call this - "Aloof by a Fire"
And this one - "Scary by a Fire"

Back to our regular programming tomorrow folks. When drinks at 3pm on a Wednesday are but a memory...

I just saw the Falls line up and I am MIGHTY excited for it. Fingers crossed everything works out and I can head to Marion Bay for it :)

Yay for public holidays - we haven't had one here for a while :( But yours looks great! Home made pasta? Oh yum! Great choice of pressie for your man! I am getting a little list together for David's bday/our anniversay and xmas. It all happens in the same month so I am gonna get a zillion lil pressies for him! :)

  3. Hi - new reader here. Found you via ebony's blog. My fiance and I got a pasta maker at our engagement party the other week. I am super excited to try it out. I haven't made pasta since I did Italian class in highschool. It should be fun!
