Man, Can You Dig It?

Ladies and Gentlemen may I present to you my second pair of new shoes. These sweet little babies were only $11 and I think we all know that $11 shoes are all the more satisfying.

Hmmm, now today I’m thinking lady archeologist/landscaper/explorer because apparently that’s what khaki means to me. I think all of the colours work really well together here. It’s floral but it’s not obnoxious. Not that there is anything wrong with obnoxious. You and I both know I love to push it. But all together this feels really muted and refined in a lady archeologist/landscaper/explorer type way. Can you dig it?

I spent a good chunk of time in The Man’s wardrobe on the weekend. It was fun in there. And, he gave me this shirt to keep! Which makes me very happy. I love the cut and the colour and the detail and the fact that it was his. Awwww.

OK before I go I have to share something with ya’ll. I am wearing the most incredible hand cream I’ve ever used. I get really annoyed when I read the styling comments in photo shoots and find “ All models wearing Chanel No. 5”. Who cares?! Am I going to rush out and buy it now because some models in some picture somewhere wore it with no relation to anything else? BUT in this case this stuff is way too good to keep to myself. It’s by a New Zealand company called Antipodes and its’ called Deliverance – Kowhai Flower Hand Cream. I look like some pantomime villain the way I keep rubbing my hands together - it’s just so smooth.

Muah ha ha ha!

  1. I totally feel like a archeologist/explorer when I wear khaki as well. Just some weird archetype thing, huh?
