Missionary Chicken

Today I am a cross between Annie Lenox and Colonel Sanders. I feel very androgynous with the shape of this jacked and well, kinda like The Colonel with this little bow tie.

See how it coordinates with my skirt? And contrasts with my sleeves? This makes me happy. Little things like that make me able to wear a skirt, button up shirt and a blazer. Hehe, I think my boss must look at me some days and think “so close!” Imaginary thoughts like this also make me happy.

And while I don’t have any particular feeling toward The Colonel (I don’t eat chicken), I have much respect for Ms Lennox. When I was a wee lass I sang a Eurythmics song at a recital. "There Must Be an Angel (Playing with My Heart)" to be specific. Guys, that’s a really tough song. It ended with me fleeing from the stage in tears. Bless my poor little 10 year old self. I don’t hold it against Annie though; that woman has a set of pipes on her!

It’s Friday tomorrow. Of which I am most glad because I feel that I’ve been keeping it pretty conservative all week. Not that I have any plans to kick out something outrageous, but a little more freedom will be a welcome relief. Plus there is a large night of good times with friends and beer and food planned and you know what? Those things make me happy.
