I’m All Set

I feel like a real lady today. I feel a bit Betty Draper. With the hair in a ringlet I actually feel more like Peggy but everything else makes me feel Betty. I like it. You really can’t get through watching 2 seasons of Mad Men and not have it infiltrate your wardrobe. And liquor cabinet. But I digress.

I saw a beautiful dress in Target with West last week. Tulle underneath and everything. When I went on the weekend I couldn’t find it, I guess it’s just in the City one. I did find this gem though. Hanging all innocently in there. It’s so light and pretty and I just had to find a cardigan so I could complete the look. Found the cardigan ($7 thanks!), then realised what I really needed was this beautiful broach that my wonderful husband gave me for my birthday.

I’m really glad I didn’t get rid of these shoes. Sure they still hurt my toes but it’s nothing a little Lucas’ Paw Paw Ointment can’t fix. Would you look at that? Heels 2 days in a row. I am a lady indeed! These are a wedge though and definitely more manageable for me.

We have the final band meeting tonight before we film on the weekend. I can’t believe it’s all actually happening! It’s going to be a big day but gee whiz it will be worth it. With editing and all I should be able to show you something next month I reckon. Remember kids, you’ll see it here first!
