Tassle Dazzle

There are some colours that I just love together. Mustard. Army green. All of what I’m wearing today really. This skirt is actually a poncho. I’m yet to sport it across my shoulders though. I wonder at which stage it stops being a poncho and starts being a skirt. I guess it’s an executive decision that needs to be made. I don’t know that I’m ready to call it just yet.

We’re heading off on our trip tomorrow morning. It’s made today feel like Friday at work. That and lunch at our favourite city bar. I’m struggling a little with what to pack for the 3 days that we’re away. It’s cold down there. A good 5 – 10 degrees colder than it is here. And they’re a classier dressed town than little old Brisbane. Not that I ever really let that influence what I wear but I guess I am taking it on board. Our itinerary consists of watching the football, shopping, eating and drinking. I honestly can’t think of anything I’d rather do on holiday.

I’ll be without blog access while away but I’ll be sure and do a recap when I get back. Enjoy the rest of your week kids. I’ll think of you while I sip gin at 11am.

  1. This outfit rocks. It's so earthy, girl power, "yeah i'm funky" like. You need to come live in Fremantle. That's the suburb of Perth I wanna settle down in. You would fit right in. Plus I'd get a chance to drink gin with you :D
    Have a great time away!
LOVE the poncho as a skirt. I think that's what makes this wonderful. Now I want a poncho dammit.

You can be on my quiz table anytime lady!

  2. Your skirt is so great! Love that it's a poncho, but I would definitely always rock it as a skirt. It's awesome!
