Hair's How It Happened

I cut my hair today and now it's not talking to me. Does anyone else's hair do this? Or is just mine...

It could be the best cut in the world (and it was! Guys! Papas and Pace...seriously - go! And ask for Tim. Tell 'em I sent you) but it gets all sulky for like 3 days.

Oh sure, in public it acts like everything's fine. But once we're alone it's a whole different story. It's like a petulant teenager. I can't reason with it and it's determined to distance itself as far from me as possible.

But it's ok. I know it'll come around.

Before too long I'll find it curled at the base of my neck, asking me to twirl it absent-mindedly while I stare at my computer screen; to treat it to that sweet smelling cream it likes. It'll take back the things it said in the heat of the moment, and we'll be cool again.

  1. My hair totally does this when I cut it. I have been trying to grow it for the wedding and have realised it behaves itself much better when it is longer so I may have to keep it this way after the wedding too.

  2. I LOVE your blog and your writing style is second to none! You're a total inspiration in fashion, and stepping outside the lines into what really works for an individual and not some hashed up, repeated, trend-following advice for the faceless masses. You also scatter inspiration everywhere with the written word not to mention you're a damn savvy photographer to boot! Go LS&S!! P.S Your hair is amazing too albeit sassy ;) xx
