On A Saturday Morning
These pictures are from last weekend. We had breakfast at Pearl Cafe in Woolloongabba.
The 20 minute wait for a table was worth it. The food was incredible!
And with the company we had - I'd be happy to wait all morning.
I mean, not really. I was pretty hungry. And borderline grumpy due to said hunger. But it was awesome hanging out with the dudes.
Strolling around in the Winter sun.
Looking at bikes and bee rings and um, something else that starts with "B" that would tie that alliteration up nicely...
Dangit.

Not A Great Country Song, Let's Be Honest
Took a train to the station...
Well, really I walked to the station. Then I took a train. But it sounds less like a country song when I explain it.
Here's the story: I waited for a train, enjoying the winter sunshine...
And admiring my polka dot tights and the fact that they'd lasted so long compared to the others I'd owned.
The train arrived and took me to the City.
Um, something something something...I dyed my hair.
Yup, worst country song ever. And it started off so well, right? Right guys?

Scout's Honour
I pass this little Scout area whenever I walk through the park on my way to the train station. But I've never explored it.
It was actually kinda scary! Definitely not used for wholesome Scout-like activities anymore. Pretty sure there isn't a patch for discarding empty wine bottles in the long grass.
Though, that would make for a pretty cool image. On the patch that is. I'm quite aware of what it looks like in action.
I mean, I've seen it. I haven't actually done it. I...was going to go into something about casks but I think it's probably best that I just leave it be.
As an aside...I think I was deluded when I got dressed. Hi, I'm just gonna wear a T-shirt and skirt in the middle of winter! Nuts I tell you...

All Dressed Up And Nowhere To Go
I mean, don't you hate it when you were going to see a band with friends and then one by one they pull out and instead you curl up on the couch and watch a movie?
Nah...me neither.

In Which I Solve The Kitten's Problem
I'm here! I am! I just...shall I be honest? OK...I just bought a Mac and by golly I'm still trying to figure out how to work it!
I've got a pretty good grasp on it now. Much better than the first few days when I looked something like that kitten on a branch, you know, the motivational one. "Hang In There". I've got a better idea, go ahead and retract your claws, land on the ground, take a nap and then call someone that knows how to climb a tree properly.
Look, I even made a cute little case for it! (The Mac that is, not the kitten.)
But anyway, I'm here, and wearing clothes. And getting stares. This outfit drew quite a bit of attention. I didn't think it was that outrageous but one might argue that my idea of outrageous is slightly off base.
To be honest, I find skinny jeans outrageous. Or more specifically, Jeggings. Ugh. Look at that. I even capitalised it. Surely they aren't worthy of a capital letter.
OK, OK, I know this post is getting on the long side. But you know what? I'm just excited that I've managed to type this whole thing without deleting an application or setting something on fire.
Truth be told I am not a total technology noob. But I am easily frustrated. I like to think of it as one of my more endearing qualities...
